Arrogance + Anger = Ann Coulter

Ann Coulter, to me, seems to be one of the few people in the public eye that I could ever honestly say, "Retire already, would you please?"

A 'shock jock', she is not. 'Ridiculously daring with a ton of stupidity piled on top', is more the description. The latest on Mr. John Edwards is just another example of the fine and wonderful job the FCC is doing of regulating itself. Wait, that sounded ridiculous. The FCC.... regulating itself? Darn, I almost fell off the chair from laughing at that thought.

As it is, we have to hear about all the bad news in the United States, and in every other possible nation around the globe. Then, we have to listen to the numerics of the ever rising death toll from the "war" in Iraq (and I put that in quotations as I have my own opinion as to what that really is over there, but that's just me). To top it off, we have people shooting down groups on college campuses, a Vice President who has declared that his office is no longer part of the executive branch, a congress who can't get anything passed into law because of a party-based vendetta that our president has against the Democrats, and to put the icing on an already sorrid cake, now we have Ann Coulter telling the American public that 'she'll be more careful next time and instead, simply wish that John Edwards gets killed in a terrorist assassination plot'.

And, to make matters worse, this seems to be perfectly 'OK'. Yet, Imus, a very well respected and veteran radio host, gets thrown off the air, for saying something that has nothing to do with death, destruction, his personal wishes against another fellow human or anything even remotely close to that. He's not on the air... but she is. Does anyone see even the slightest bit of stupidity in this? This woman, in my opinion, needs to be kicked off the air permanently, stripped of her rights to get in front of any radio microphone, and sent off to a psychiatric ward. Preferably in another country.

Her actions are irresponsible, garish and down right stupid. They portray nothing but personal anger and hatred and arrogance, and that is not a good combination to have when making references to ANY person, nevermind somene who might one day be sitting in the Oval office.

Nice work Ann. Instead of wishing someone to be dead, maybe you ought to wish something upon yourself... if you only had a brain.
