Woodward tells about talking about the CIA agent / Journalists say they didn't hear about her from Libby

Woodward tells about talking about the CIA agent / Journalists say they didn't hear about her from Libby. I find it morbidly ironic that such chaos is taking place in our higher court systems. Mr. Woodward (known for his aide in breaking open the Watergate scandal) has testified that he was one of the first (if not THE first) to know about Mrs. Wilson's (aka Valeria Plame) idenity as a CIA covert operative. Talk about throwing a dozen eggs on special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald's face!

Mr. Libby has been the only one charged with a crime in this scandal, yet there are several others that knew about Ms. Wilson's identity prior to Mr. Libby, and, said people had also leaked this information out to various reporters ahead of Mr. Libby's 'leakage'. For those who do not see 'the big deal' in the previous statement, allow me to clarify. It is against the law for anyone to reveal the identity of a CIA covert agent. The reasons for this should be obvious.

Her husband went on a fact-finding trip to Africa to try and clarify (and perhaps bring at least some minor justification to president Bush's call for war against Iraq) the exact situation pertaining to WMD's (weapons of mass destruction) in regard to Iraq's ability to both obtain them, and utilize them. So far, the U. S. American public has yet to see any clear cut answer to the scandal laiden question: "So, did/does Iraq have any WMD's, or not?"

We've heard "there's a good possibility of this", and "we believe that they might not have"...but there was no defined 'yes or no' answer. Well, I suppose the U. S. American public should be used to this from our own government by now. I mean, after all, we do comprise 'the voice of the people', which, is basically useless in Washington D. C. anyway. The issue here is that Mr. Libby has been the only person charged with a crime, when countless others have committed the same crime, and prior to Mr. Libby committing such a crime, who have yet to be charged with anything. These people haven't even been given so much as a parking ticket!

While I do agree that Mr. Libby was rightfully charged with a crime, I do NOT agree that there is any justice being served by targetting one person, when countless others are in the same pool of guilt with him. Ah justice....
